1998 Dry Tortugas Trip aboard the Tiburon
"The South Florida Spearfishing Club no longer recommends Taylor
Made Excursions and the Tiburon. If at some time in the future this operation recovers and becomes what
it was at one time we will rescind this message.
When Undersea Breathing Systems dragged their feet on returning the replacement for their defective
membrane Tim Taylor went to work. In order to accommodate the SFSC on their annual trip to the Dry
Tortugas he had 5 tanks of oxygen brought on board the Tiburon so we could dive NITROX. The next day
Tim's friend ran his boat 63 miles out to us in the Dry Tortugas with the new membrane. There is almost
no such thing as service like this anymore. Perfect weather, gin clear water and a wonderful crew made
this trip the best we've ever had.
